Patty J's Sport Pub & Restaurant is named after Patrick J. Hickey. “Pat” was a husband, father of 3, brother of 9, grandfather of 4, uncle to many, and friend to everyone. Patrick J Hickey passed away last year after battling cancer. His name, to those who knew him always brings out kind recollections and light hearted memories. Pat's career as a fireman for the FDNY spanned 28 years, and his service to the Emerald Society Pipes & Drums Band for the FDNY for over 20 years allowed him to show his Pride as an Irish-American.


“Patty J's” Sports Pub & Restaurant is a classic place, like Pat who was a classic guy. He came from a generation who understood duty, honor, and service. His love for sports and family and friends were his driving force in life. Patty J's will help us keep his name alive for many years to come. Our hope is, that through our little sports bar, we can keep his kind soul and good deeds as our driving force to serve this emerging community and allow our neighbors to learn a little bit about a man who is sorely missed by his own.
